Keep the floating icon on phones, or hide it below 720px with the Remove Cart For Mobile View option when your theme already shows the RestroPress mobile cart bar.

The panel is the standard RestroPress cart, so quantities, remove links and the checkout button all work as usual and send customers straight to payment.

Switch it on in settings
Install and activate the plugin, then go to RestroPress > Settings > General > Sliding Cart and tick Enable Sliding Cart.

Pick the display style
Choose Icon Bar or Cart Icon under Display Option, set the Total Items Badge Color, and decide whether to remove the icon on mobile.

Customers open the cart from anywhere on the menu
A tap on the icon slides the cart in over the menu, and the checkout button inside sends them straight to payment.

A few things to know.
Does the sliding cart replace the standard cart page?
No. Sliding Cart adds a floating trigger that opens the standard RestroPress cart as a slide-in panel, and the checkout page keeps working as before. Nothing about your cart contents or checkout flow changes.
Is it mobile-friendly?
Yes. On phones the panel slides over the menu as a full-height drawer and closes with a tap so the customer is straight back on the menu. If your theme already shows the RestroPress mobile cart bar, turn on Remove Cart For Mobile View to hide the floating icon below 720px and avoid two cart buttons.
Does it work with all RestroPress themes?
Sliding Cart hooks into the standard RestroPress add-to-cart and remove buttons and only shows on pages that contain the RestroPress menu, so it works with any theme that supports RestroPress. If your theme heavily customizes the menu layout, add one test item after activating and check that the panel opens as expected.
Can customers edit quantities in the sliding cart?
Yes. The panel is the regular RestroPress cart, so customers can change quantities and remove items there, and the totals and the badge count update immediately. That means fewer trips away from the menu and fewer abandoned orders.
