Create your developer apps
Create an app on the Facebook, Google or Twitter developer portal and set your RestroPress checkout page URL as the redirect or callback URL.

Enable each provider
In RestroPress, Settings, open the Social tab. Each provider has its own section (Facebook, Google, Twitter) where you enable it, paste the App ID and App Secret, and set the button text.

Customers sign in with one tap
The social login buttons appear on the checkout page above the login and register form, and customers return to checkout signed in.

A few things to know.
Which social platforms are supported?
Facebook, Google and Twitter/X. You can enable one, two or all three, and each shows as its own button on the checkout page. Most restaurants start with Google, since almost every customer has an account.
Do customers still need a WordPress account?
A WordPress account is still created, but Social Login does it automatically the first time a customer signs in. They never set a password, and on later visits one tap on the same button logs them straight in with their order history intact.
What do I enter as the callback URL?
Use your RestroPress checkout page URL. Social Login sends the customer to the provider, and the provider returns them to the checkout page, where the extension completes the sign-in and reloads the checkout with the customer logged in. The same URL works for the Facebook, Google and Twitter apps.
Can I change the button labels?
Yes. Each provider section has a Login Button Text field, so the button can read "Continue with Google" or anything else in your own language. The labels are also translatable through the plugin text domain like the rest of RestroPress.
