Yes. Open the order in RestroPress, change its status to Refunded and tick Refund Charge in Stripe. The plugin issues the refund against the Stripe payment and adds the refund ID as an order note. Refunds you make in the Stripe dashboard flow back through the webhook and mark the order refunded as well.

Yes, for reliable order status. Add a webhook endpoint in Stripe for the URL shown in the gateway settings and paste the signing secret into Webhook Signing Secret. The listener rejects any event that fails signature verification and handles checkout session, payment intent, charge and review events, so an order is marked paid even if the customer closes the browser early.
